Temilola Adepetun is the founder of SKLD Integrated Services Limited (formerly School Kits Limited), a leading sourcing company for educational, lifestyle, office, and humanitarian aid supplies in Nigeria, with a presence in 6 States of the country serving over 500 companies across 26 states in Nigeria. She is passionate about learning and development and has been a facilitator on soft skills in entrepreneurship programs. She has served on mentoring Programs over the years, mentoring other female entrepreneurs.

She started her 14-year career in the Oil and Gas Industry in 1986, during which she worked in various strategic departments and resigned in the year 2000 to pioneer the concept of a one-stop back-to-school store in Lagos, with the opening of her first retail store at Onikan on September 9th, 2000. SKLD currently operates 7 retail outlets across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, an online back-to-school store and 6 other business locations across Nigeria.

Over the last 25 years, Temilola has driven a very innovative and dynamic team toward achieving remarkable growth in her company. She achieved this by expanding SKLD’s wholesale division with the launch of Marcel Hughes Apparel in 2009 - Nigeria’s flagship uniform brand serving over 500 schools nationwide; and establishing a garment production facility employing over 100 garment workers and producing over 5,000 garments per month. SKLD further diversified into Humanitarian Aid supplies to International NGOs such as UNICEF, Save the Children, AHNI and others. The Distributorship and Corporate Services divisions were added in recent years.

Today, SKLD delivers 3 categories of products, namely School, Office and Lifestyle to 4 main sectors: Consumers, Education, Corporate Organizations and Humanitarian Aid NGOs through its 5 business divisions: Retail, Educational Supplies, Corporate Services, Humanitarian Aids and Distributorship.

Temilola has received several awards in recognition of her leadership and impact. Notably, she received the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation (IWEC) Award in India in 2019, and in 2023 was honoured as Education Business Leader by the Africa Economy Builders Forum in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. In 2025, she received the Excellence in Succession Planning Award from BusinessDay at the My Family My Business Summit and the Legacy Award at the Visionary Leaders Conference, recognizing her impact on leadership and business continuity.

In November 2025, Temilola formally handed over leadership of SKLD to her successor, marking a new chapter in the company’s journey.

She serves on several boards, including SS Dental Clinic, Lagos, C.O.P.E Foundation focused on Breast Cancer awareness, Courage Education Foundation that provides for the education of indigent children and African Things, an SME.

Temilola holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Lagos (1982) and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance, London -A.C.I.I. (1985). She is married to Dr. Adebayo Adepetun, and they have three sons: Damola, Denola and Ademide.
