Babs Omotowa (Dr) is a globally respected Nigerian business leader and former CEO/MD of Nigeria LNG, one of Africa’s largest and most successful energy companies. With more than 25 years of international experience, he has held senior leadership roles at Royal Dutch Shell across Europe, Africa, and North America, including serving as Global Vice President for Shell Upstream.

He is the Founding President of the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM), a pioneering institution focused on developing Africa’s next generation of technology, innovation, and business leaders. Omotowa is also a former Global President of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, London, UK, and has served on the boards of major organizations, including SPDC, Seplat Energy, WAGPO, and the NESG. He currently serves on Boards like NNPC Ltd. and Stanbic IBTC Holdings.

A strong advocate for ethical leadership, governance, and human capital development, he is the author of the memoir “From Storeroom to Boardroom”, which chronicles his rise from humble beginnings to global executive leadership. Omotowa has been recognized with an honorary Doctor of Science degree for his contributions to industry and national development.
